Dear Nira:
My name is Christen Madrazo and I am chairing the Creative Non-Fiction Travel Writing Panel at the conference next week. I'm writing with a quick question.
I noticed that one of my presenters, Stephen Miller of St. John's University, isn't listed on the program under our panel. Since I hadn't heard of anyone in my proposal being rejected, I assumed that he had switched into a new panel or had dropped altogether. However, today I heard from him and he says that he is still presenting with us even though he hasn't registered/paid yet. Was it a mistake on the program that he's not listed with us? He (along with the four listed) were included in my proposal; can he still present?
I apologize if I should have checked into this sooner. This is my first time as chair. Please advise.
Thank you,
Christen Madrazo

Subject: [Njcea] Spring Conference - March 27, 2010
Dear Members,
The Spring Conference Program is now available for your "perusal" at our NJCEA website. The address is http://njcea.org<http://njcea.org/>.
Registration for the Conference, which includes annual membership dues, is open. Early registration deadline is March 13. You may download the registration form also at the NJCEA website.
I look forward to seeing many of you at the Spring Conference. We are very excited about the conference this year, and I hope you will take time out of your busy schedules to attend the keynote address of our guest speaker, the acclaimed Caribbean author, Elizabeth Nunez, and to join your colleagues in a day of lively discussions and debates on matters, literary, theoretical, and pedagogical. In the meanwhile, enjoy the lovely winter weather!
Sincerely,
Nira
